Conventional apps store unencrypted media thumbnails, chat databases, and logs within SQLite or flash memory. Cove eliminates persistent storage risks by isolating decrypted chats, voice messages, and media strictly within volatile device RAM. The moment a view is dismissed or a session expires, memory buffers are explicitly zeroed out (0x00). Irrevocable cryptographic scuttles can be executed on demand by either party.
